All visitors and campers entering the campground must register at the entrance booth and display a current camper or visitor tag.

2016 Campground Reservation Update: 

Please note: To facilitate reservations for the Lake Shawnee Campground we have separated 4th of July reservations dates from regular campground reservations.

4th of July Reservations: 

Monday, April 11, 8am, the campground will begin taking walk in reservations for the 4th of July holiday. Campers will be required to reserve a site for the entire weekend Friday, July 1 - Monday, July 4.  Walk in reservations will be taken first. We will need your name, address, birth date, license tag on your camping unit and your arrival date. Payment is required for the entire weekend when reservation is made. No telephone reservations will be taken on April 11 until walk in reservation are finished. 

General Reservations:
Friday, April 15, 8am, walk in reservations will be taken for arrival dates of May 15 - Sept. 15. Phone reservations will begin on Saturday, April 16. We will need your name, address, birth date, license tag on your camping unit, and your arrival date. A minimum stay of two nights is required. Payment is required for the first two nights when reservation is made.

NOTE:  Refunds will not be issued for unused reservations.

Additional Information
Tents erected with an R.V. in the same site will be charged an additional $6 fee per tent-site per day.

The campground swimming area is open between sunrise and sunset and only to registered campers. Persons using the swimming area, surrounding dock, beach and sidewalk do so at their own risk. All children 10 years of age or younger using the swimming area must be supervised by a parent, guardian or responsible companion 18 years of age or older. You may also view our campground map.
