Nestled in nature next to Shawnee North Community Center, the Shawnee North Family Aquatic Center has a three-pool design that encompasses many of today’s state-of-the-art features from water slides to spray features to a lazy river.  Ample space is available for people that want to relax and soak up the sun. Patrons will enjoy numerous shade structures as well.

General Admission Passes:

• Allows a youth or adult admission into the aquatic center or pool to swim during public hours.  
• Available for purchase at any aquatic facility/pool, the Administration Office at Lake Shawnee or Shawnee North Community Center.  
• There is no expiration date and they are not exclusive to a single individual.

Aquatic Fitness Punch Pass

Allows an individual age 13+ admission to the instructor led fitness classes.

• Available for purchase at Shawnee County Park Admin Office, Shawnee North Community Center, or any aquatic facility/pool that offers instructor led fitness classes during business hours.
• There is no expiration date and they are not exclusive to a single individual.
• Not valid for general admission to swim, water walking, lap swimming, or fitness events.

Water Walk & Lap Swim Pass

Allows an individual age 13+ admission to water walking or fitness swimming only.

• Available for purchase at Shawnee County Park Admin Office, Shawnee North Community Center, or Shawnee North Family Aquatic Center during business hours.
• There is no expiration date and they are not exclusive to a single individual.
• Not valid for general admission to swim or instructor led aquatic fitness classes or fitness events.

Water Walking

Work out against the current of the lazy river.  Participants must be 13 years of age or older.

Morning Time: 9-11 am Monday-Saturday, May 29th-August 2nd 2025.
Evening Time: 6-6:50 pm Monday-Thursday, May 26th-July 31st 2025.
Cost: $5 or one punch on an aquatic fitness pass.

Water walking will be unavailable on the following date:

June 14th for the 5k Water Walk

July 12th for the Stormont Vail Event

July 26th for the 5k Water Walk

Fitness Swimming

Open lap swimming in lap lanes at Shawnee North Family Aquatic Center.

Time: 8am-9:30am Monday-Friday, May 30th-August 1st 2025.
Cost: $5 or one punch on an aquatic fitness pass.

Fitness Swimming will be unavailable on the following date:

Dog Swim

Finish the summer season by bringing your 4-legged friends to cool off at the pool.

• Date TBD
• 4-5:25 p.m. – Small dogs 30 pounds or less.
•  5:35-7 p.m. – All size dog swim available for all dogs. No weight or size restriction

For the safety of patrons and dogs:

· Each owner may bring up to two dogs. All dogs must be under full control of an owner 13+ years of age.

· Patrons are not permitted in water deeper than chest level and may not submerge beneath the surface.

· Dogs are not allowed into the deep end/dive wells of the pool. Dog toys are welcome.

· Dogs must be vaccinated.

· This event is a Dog Swim. No free swimming by people allowed.

· Dog handlers will be required to sign a waiver prior to admission.
