1. Central Park Community Center

   Central Park Community Center is located near Washburn University and the Stormont-Vail Event Center. The center focuses on a variety programs for all ages. The gymnasium and meeting rooms are available for rent.

2. Crestview Community Center

   Crestview Community Center is a feature attraction in southwest Shawnee County and conveniently located along the popular Shunga Trail. The center focuses on a variety programs for all ages. The gymnasium and meeting rooms are available for rent.

The center focuses on a variety programs for all ages. The gymnasium and meeting room are available for rent. After school drop-in activities include a computer lab, gym and game room.

4. Hillcrest Community Center

   Hillcrest Community Center was renovated in 2020 and includes a gymnasium with a brand new floor, racquetball courts, meeting rooms, fitness/weightroom, lobby with games and a computer lab. The community center is a feature attraction in the southeast Topeka area. Hillcrest provides a variety of programs for all ages along with room and gym rentals. Please call us at 785-251-6956 to learn about our programs and drop-in use.

5. Oakland Community Center

   Oakland Community Center is located in Oakland-Billard Park. The center focuses on a variety programs for all ages and offers a license before school care program for youth. The gymnasium and meeting room are available for rent.

6. Rice Community Center

   Rice Community Center houses the East Topeka Community Center and It Takes a Village youth program. The park includes an outdoor picnic shelter, playground, a disc golf course and a horseshoe pitch.

7. Shawnee North Community Center

   Built in 1920 the Shawnee North Community Center is rich in community history, serving residents in many capacities as a Poor Farm, an Infirmary and Community Center. This three story facility focuses on a variety programs for all ages. The kitchen, dining room and meeting rooms are available for rent.
