  • Session 1 (Group Lessons)

  • Session 4 (Private Lessons, 1 week long session)

Swim Lesson Levels

Group sessions offer 8 lessons per session (Parent Tot 6) while Private sessions offer 4 lessons per session.

  • Registration is available by clicking here and then navigating to "Aquatics" and then selecting "Aquatic Fitness Events".
  • Aquatic Fitness Punch Passes will not be accepted due to increased admission
  • All fitness events require preregistration.

Aquatic Fitness Punch Pass Notes:

Allows an individual age 13+ admission to the instructor led fitness classes.

  • Available for purchase at Shawnee County Park Admin Office, Shawnee North Community Center, or Shawnee North Family Aquatic Center during business hours.
  • There is no expiration date and they are not exclusive to a single individual.
  • Not valid for general admission to swim, water walking, lap swimming, or fitness events.

Water Walking & Lap Swimming

Shawnee North Family Aquatic Center Water Walking:

Work out against the current in the Lazy River at Shawnee North Family Aquatic Center. Participants must be 13 years of age or older. 

  • Morning Time: 9-11 a.m., Monday-Saturday, May 29-Aug. 2, 2025
  • Evening Time: 6-6:50 p.m., Monday-Thursday, May 26-Jul. 31, 2025
    • Cost: $5 or one punch on a Water Walk & Lap Swim Pass

Water walking will be unavailable on the following date:

  • June 14th for the 5k Water Walk
  • July 12th for the Stormont Vail Event
  • July 26th for the 5k Water Walk



Shawnee North Family Aquatic Center Open Lap Swim

Open lap swimming in lap lanes at Shawnee North Family Aquatic Center. Participants must be 13 years of age or older.

Time: 8-9:30 a.m. Mon.-Fri., May 30-Aug. 1, 2025.
Cost: $5 or one punch on a Water Walk & Lap Swim Pass

Fitness Lap Swimming will be unavailable on the following date:


Oakland Pool Water Walking:

Work out against the current in the Lazy River at Oakland Pool.  Participants must be 13 years of age or older.

  • 5:15pm-6:30pm, Monday-Thursday, June 2-July 24, 2025 
    • Cost $3
